Revitalizing a pre-war apartment through a refined living room that pairs the elegance of a historic apartment with contemporary furniture, sculptural forms, and a warm, luxurious material palette.

Respect the home's historic architecture. Introduce modern furnishings with timeless appeal. Create a warm, inviting space for everyday living and entertaining.

Design Response

Contemporary furnishings were selected to contrast the apartment's traditional detailing while complementing its architectural character. Rich wood tones, brass accents, and sculptural lighting create warmth, while curved forms soften the formal interior.
