Project description

This bedroom is designed as a quiet retreat from daily life. Rich walnut, deep burgundy velvet, and sculptural furnishings create a layered, hotel-inspired atmosphere that feels both luxurious and deeply comfortable.

Client Goals

Create a calming primary bedroom that feels like a boutique hotel suite. Introduce rich color and texture while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. Incorporate integrated nightstands to reduce visual clutter. Balance bold feature materials with soft, neutral bedding and finishes. Design a space that encourages rest without sacrificing sophistication.

Design Response

The design uses a full-width walnut feature wall with a channel-tufted burgundy velvet headboard to anchor the room and create warmth. Floating nightstands, sculptural lighting, and a restrained palette of natural materials establish a clean, balanced composition, while soft textiles introduce comfort and depth.
