Project description

Material expression is explored by balancing bold natural stone with warm walnut, sculptural forms, and restrained detailing to produce a refined contemporary bathroom. Every finish was selected to create a calm, gallery-like atmosphere while elevating the everyday experience.

Client Goals

Create a luxurious primary bathroom with a strong architectural identity. Introduce bold focal point without making the space feel dark or overwhelming. Maximize storage while maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance. Incorporate timeless materials that would age gracefully and remain visually relevant. Design a space that feels both functional and spa-like for everyday use.

Design Response

The design centers on a dramatic burgundy marble feature wall that establishes a clear focal point while warm walnut cabinetry softens the composition. Floating millwork, concealed storage, sculptural fixtures, and a restrained material palette create an open, calming environment that feels sophisticated without sacrificing practicality.
