A contemporary home office centered around custom white oak millwork that transforms an underutilized room into a warm, functional workspace while incorporating the client's existing furnishings.
Client Goals
Create a dedicated home office with significantly more storage. Maintain a warm, uncluttered aesthetic. Reuse existing furniture wherever possible.
Design Response
A full wall of custom cabinetry integrates storage, display, and workspace into a single architectural feature. Existing furnishings were complemented with new lighting, textiles, and greenery to create a cohesive, balanced environment.
Bespoke white oak cabinetry with integrated recessed pulls. Built-in desk with concealed storage and open shelving. Reuse of the client's existing leather sofa and office chair. Textured charcoal rug to define the seating area. Oversized aged brass pendant for warmth and scale. Fiddle-leaf fig introducing natural texture and color.
